It doesn’t happen very often in Preston so when it snowed I had to take advantage and go out ‘snow hunting’ It was a good job that I did it then as the following year it didn’t snow!

My winter range is the simplest season I’ve done. It only consists of 3 glazes, my semi matt white, semi matt black and semi matt dark grey. As well as these glazes I also use copper and cobalt oxide. I had originally decided to try a gloss black and gloss white however these glazes did not work well in the group as when I layered the glazes they did not blend to the correct colours therefore I made the decision to keep to the matt range.
